Interpersona is dedicated to the broad spectrum of human interactions, from weak ties to intimate relationships. It aims to globalize relationship research, making it accessible worldwide. Indexed in significant databases, Interpersona fosters open knowledge exchange in this field.
With its semi-annual publication schedule in June and December, Interpersona provides a regular platform for current research findings, continuously contributing to the understanding of the complex dynamics of human relationships. The International Center for Interpersonal Relationship Research (ICIRR) is responsible for the journal.
Interpersona aims to make insights about human relationships accessible to a wide international readership. The journal actively promotes the publication of research from around the world, thus contributing to the internationalization of this important field of study. It promotes scholarship within its field based on different methodologies and stemming from disciplines including Psychology, Family Studies, Sociology, Anthropology, Communication Studies, Economics, Management Science, Biology, Health Sciences, History, and others.
To further promote free and open information exchange, Interpersona transitioned to PsychOpen in 2012. This move was designed to enhance the visibility of relationship research and optimize the international reception and citation of knowledge about personal relationships.
The quality and relevance of Interpersona are underscored by its indexing in numerous important databases. These include Scopus, DOAJ, EBSCO, Latindex, PSICODOC, PubPsych, JournalTOCs, ProQuest, and Hinari-Research in Health (World Health Organization), among others.
