PsycINFO accepted Interpersona for inclusion

It is already the second journal, published by PsychOpen GOLD, that is now covered by the American Psychological Associations' database PsycINFO.

PsycINFO is a database dedicated to international scholarly publications in psychology and neighboring disciplines. Currently, PsycINFO covers more than 4.4 million records.

To be included in the database, Interpersona had to pass a thorough evaluation, regarding its relevance to the behavioral sciences, its quality and scope of interest to an international audience, and its peer-review process.

Interpersona is an international journal on personal relationships. It publishes articles on all kinds of human interactions, from weak ties to close relationships, and their relations with society and culture. With an editorial board formed by scholars from 65 countries, the journal seeks to internationalize the investigation in the field. Articles published in Interpersona are peer-reviewed and available online via PsychOpen GOLD.

PsychOpen GOLD, the European Open-Access Publishing Platform for Psychology, is a project by the Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information (ZPID), Trier, Germany. Armin Günther, Managing Editor of PsychOpen GOLD, said: "This is a big success. After the Journal of Social and Political Psychology (JSPP), Interpersona is the second PsychOpen journal indexed in PsycINFO. It demonstrates the quality of our publications."
