Methodology: PsychOpen-Journal Accepted Into Directory of Open Access Journals

Methodology: European Journal of Research Methods for the Behavioral and Social Sciences (IF=1.242 ), published at PsychOpen GOLD, is now included in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).

The DOAJ is a community-curated online directory that indexes high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals. Today, the independent database contains approximately 12,000 open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social science and humanities. Methodology is now one of them.

The European Association of Methodology's Journal has migrated to the publishing platform PsychOpen this year. Methodology won through a competitive selection process and is one of four journals that have joined PsychOpen in 2020. With this step the journal transformed from a closed-access to an open-access-journal. 

"We are very happy for having Methodology at PsychOpen GOLD", says Armin Günther, Managing Editor of the publishing platform. "It is the first journal with an Impact Factor (Web of Science) we are publishing. The fact that it has now been included into DOAJ is another reason to be pleased."
