CC-BY license usage grows

In 2012 more than 80.000 journal articles were published under a CC-BY license by OASPA members. Figures recently published by OASPA show a considerable increase in use of the CC-BY license in the last years. The CC-BY license lets others distribute and build upon licensed work, as long as they credit authors for the original creation. The CC-BY license is used by PsychOpen for all its journal articles. PsychOpen/ZPID is a member of OASPA, an international association of Open Access (OA) journal publishers.
